Summers are always about color and this summer is no exception. In particular, the runways showed bright colors, white, and all the shades of blue. So let your colorful imagination soar because this season bright colors are the trend de jour.

The fashion houses of Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Dana Karan showed zesty lemon jackets, fuchsia tops, germanium dresses, bright blue dresses, and acidic green purses and shoes. Bright colors are a fantastic accent and can be used to complement gentle colors. However, the key to achieving a balanced bright look is to avoid a color overload. You can gently brighten up a solid white outfit by using a bright handbag and matching shoes, and of course bright beaded jewelry. A key color on the runways this season was cool clear white. Calvin Kline and Helmut Land adorned their collections with modern and romantic whites. Blue was the other trendy color in fashion this season. Fabrics in blues ranging from every shade of the ocean, sapphire, rich teal, and azure were shown in the summer collections. Key designers such as Lberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci, and Louis Vuitton have emphasized blue throughout their pieces. Blues include cool icy shades, deep royal blues, warm navy, warm teal, and warm turquoise. Every woman can wear blue so long as she chooses a flattering shade. Women with wardrobes in warm shades can update their beaded jewelry with warm blues such as the one used in the Venice style. Turquoise, cyan, or deep sky blue beads look gorgeous with warm palette wardrobes. Cool shade wardrobes will benefit from accessories in royal blue, deep navy, deep sea blue, and baby blue.
