At Medalye Designs we are committed to sustainable and responsible business practices.  Part of the proceeds from Medalye Designs are donated to causes which improve the lives of disadvantaged people throughout the world.  We have:

• Donated to Oprah's Angel Network - an organization that is dedicated to assisting under-served people in fulfilling basic human needs and regaining dignity
• Provided emergency funds for the Red Cross to deliver hope and comfort to victims of Hurricane Katrina
• Stocked an underprivileged classroom with textbooks, pencils, notebooks and rulers through World Vision
• Supplied 208 women and children with medicine in rural Afghanistan in partnership with Creating Hope International
• Provided health care for 90 people for one year in Zimbabwe in partnership with Raider
• Delivered winter clothing to 25 impoverished children in East Europe in partnership with World Vision
• Subsidized 2 years of medical care for a child at the Khelaghar co-operative community for children without families in Calcutta, India
• Contributed to the reduction of pollution in partnership with ZeroFootprint Inc.
• Donated funds to local raffles

Jacqueline Medalye is the designer and founder of Medalye Designs.  She was taught European art, history, and culture from an early age.  As the daughter of a successful fashion designer of women's lingerie and haute couture, Anna Medalye, Jacqueline was part of the fashion industry since her teenage years.  She discovered the art of beading and began learning the techniques, trade, and history of costume jewelry.  After education at York University, Jacqueline began designing costume jewelry professionally.  Today, her company Medalye Designs, continues to offer satisfied customers with innovative, elegant, and unique beaded accessories.
